Learning Stations are used to reinforce and strengthen knowledge and skills that have been taught either during the whole group lesson or small group instruction. Students typically rotate from station to station completing different tasks to apply what they have learned.
Learning Stations need to be well planned and differentiated for successful independent work. Remember, this is what the students will be doing while the teacher is teaching a Flexible Group.
